Nemanja Matic gives Chelsea team talk

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reveals why midfielder Nemanja Matic gave the team talk at Anfield.

Jose Mourinho has revealed that midfielder Nemanja Matic has taken on the responsibility of giving Chelsea's pre-match team talk for this afternoon's Premier League encounter away at Liverpool.

The BT Sport cameras at Anfield captured the Serbian speaking intently with his teammates during the warm-up and when asked why that was the case, Mourinho revealed that he often gives one of his players that role.

"Nemanja Matic is the man to speak today. Not me. I finished my work with them at the hotel. Every game we have one player to say a couple of words and today is Matic's day," he said.
