Eden Hazard allegedly arrived for pre-season training with new side Real Madrid more than a stone overweight and has upset the club's chiefs.

Real Madrid chiefs reportedly have no confidence in Eden Hazard as the big-money signing arrived for pre-season more than a stone overweight.

The Belgian forward finally completed an £89m switch to Madrid from Chelsea in June after months of speculation.

Hazard enjoyed some time off before linking up with his new teammates for the first time for their tour of the United States and Canada earlier this month.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, however, the 28-year-old upset Madrid officials by arriving overweight.

The report claims that president Florentino Perez is among those to have lost confidence in Hazard before he has even represented the club in a competitive fixture.

Los Blancos have two more friendlies before their La Liga opener against Celta Vigo on August 17.
