Quique Flores "completely satisfied" with Watford point against Chelsea

Watford manager Quique Flores insists that he is "completely satisfied" with his side's performance and result during the 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Watford manager Quique Flores has said that he is "completely satisfied" with his side's performance and the result from their Boxing Day meeting with Chelsea.

The Hornets came from behind and then squandered a lead of their own as the two sides played out a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea missing the chance to steal all three points when Oscar blazed a late penalty over the bar.

Despite seeing his side's four-match winning streak come to an end, Flores was happy to come away with a point, while also admitting that it was "funny" to be alongside interim Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink in the dugout having played under the Dutchman at Valencia.

"I'm completely satisfied. Chelsea were really motivated, very strong, very aggressive, so I am happy with the performance and really happy with the result," Flores told reporters.

"It's always difficult to play against Chelsea. They are an amazing team. And Hiddink is an amazing coach.

"It was funny being in the dugout next to him. In the second half he told [Branislav] Ivanovic - who played in my position - to do something and then said 'but not like Sanchez Flores!'"

Watford are now unbeaten in five games, moving level on points with Manchester United courtesy of today's draw.
