Fabio Capello interested in Chelsea job

Ex-England boss Fabio Capello admits that he would be interested in succeeding Jose Mourinho as manager of Chelsea.

Former England boss Fabio Capello has admitted that he would be interested in becoming the next manager of Chelsea.

Current Blues boss Jose Mourinho has come under fire for the team's form in the Premier League this season, which sees the defending champions sit 15th in the table after losing six of their opening 11 games.

Capello is one name that has been linked with the manager's job at Stamford Bridge should Mourinho leave, and the 69-year-old Italian is available after being sacked as Russia boss in July.

"My future at Chelsea? Why not?" Capello told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Right now, I am in Russia, in Moscow. For now, I have received no offers, but if something interesting arrives, why not?"

Capello has also managed AC Milan, Real Madrid, Roma and Juventus during his career.
