Gary Cahill pleased with "massive" victory

Gary Cahill describes Chelsea's 6-0 triumph over Arsenal as a "massive" result in their quest for the Premier League title.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has described the team's 6-0 triumph over Arsenal as a "massive" result in their quest for the Premier League title.

The Blues maintained their four-point lead at the top of the table on Saturday as they brushed aside the Gunners at Stamford Bridge.

"The importance of this game was massive," Cahill told the club's official website. "We felt before it that if Arsenal beat us how difficult it would be for us, so we really felt that pressure going out and that is why there was that performance at the start, because of the importance of the win."

Chelsea return to Premier League action this Saturday with a trip to Crystal Palace.
