Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole has been ruled out for "two weeks" with a hamstring injury.

The England defender picked up the injury during the first half of his side's 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the quarter-final of the FA Cup earlier today.

He was immediately replaced by Ryan Bertrand and went straight to the dressing room to receive further treatment.

Having had the problem assessed, interim manager Rafael Benitez confirmed that the 32-year-old will now be absent for the next fortnight.
