Frank Lampard wants to follow current England teammates Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole in reaching 100 Three Lions appearances.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has revealed that he has his sights set on a century of England appearances.

The 34-year-old has been capped 94 times by his country since debuting in 1999 and is likely to add to that tally in England's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro.

Of the current squad, Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole have recently reached the landmark and Lampard is hopeful of following in their footsteps.

"I'm really enjoying the England thing," said Lampard. "You really appreciate it as you get older every time you play for them.

"I'm enjoying being a part of it. It's a very happy, comfortable squad with Roy [Hodgson] in charge.

"It's 94 [caps]. But six caps in international football is still a relatively long way. So I'll take it cap by cap."

Lampard reached another significant milestone at the weekend, scoring his 200th Chelsea goal in their victory over West Ham United.
