Jose Mourinho: 'Diego Costa fit for Stoke City clash'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reveals that he will wait until the last moment to decide whether to start Diego Costa against Stoke City this weekend.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that striker Diego Costa has recovered from the groin injury that kept him out of international duty with Spain.

Costa was forced off with the problem late in the 3-2 victory over Hull City, but although Mourinho has declared his forward fit, he has insisted that no decision has been made on whether he will start against Stoke City on Saturday evening.

The 52-year-old told reporters: "Diego Costa trained yesterday and today, he's not injured.

"I don't know if I'll start him or not. I need to make a decision, but the medical department is empty."

Costa has scored 19 goals in 23 games in the Premier League this season.
