In a repeat of the 2020-21 Champions League semi-finals, Chelsea and Real Madrid now lock horns in the last eight of this year's competition, with the first leg taking place at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Thomas Tuchel's side made it past Ligue 1 champions Lille 4-1 on aggregate to book their spot in the quarters, while Carlo Ancelotti's men produced a phenomenal comeback against Paris Saint-Germain.
We say: Chelsea 1-1 Real Madrid
Keeping clean sheets at home in the Champions League has not been an issue for Chelsea, but shipping four to Brentford before being faced with a prolific veteran in Benzema spells danger for the Blues' backline.
A return to a back three should at least not lead to a repeat of the weekend, and Real did not blow Celta Vigo out of the water by any means, so we expect a tightly-fought first leg to end all square.

Villarreal vs. Bayern (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Having already upset the odds in this season's Champions League, Villarreal will seek another memorable European scalp when Bayern Munich pay a visit to the Estadio de la Ceramica for the first leg of their quarter-final tie on Wednesday night.
Unai Emery's men produced a phenomenal showing against Juventus to book their spot in the last eight, while the Bavarians ultimately ran out comfortable winners over Red Bull Salzburg.
We say: Villarreal 0-2 Bayern Munich
Back-to-back league defeats to sides whom they would have expected to beat is not a recipe for success for Villarreal ahead of the visit of Bayern, but they normally prove to be a tough nut to crack at home.
However, playing on rival turf in the Champions League has not phased Bayern for several years now, and we can only picture Nagelsmann's free-scoring crop claiming a healthy first-leg advantage.
