The Scottish Football Association has charged Celtic's on-loan winger Aleksandar Tonev with using 'racist language' following an incident against Aberdeen last weekend.
The 24-year-old, who is currently on loan at the Scottish outfit from Aston Villa, has been issued with a notice of complaint from the governing body this afternoon.
After Celtic's 2-1 victory over Aberdeen last Sunday, the Dons accused Tonev of racially abusing defender Shay Logan.
Today, a statement from the SFA claimed that the Bulgarian has breached rule 202, which is 'excessive misconduct by the use of offensive, insulting and abusive language of a racist nature'.
Tonev has until Friday, September 26 to respond to the charge.
