Celtic midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has said that he is ready to help the team, despite missing a large chunk of the season.
Wakaso has suffered from three injuries during his time at Parkhead, including a severe cut to the eye which kept him out for three weeks. He was also part of Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations squad that lost in the final last month.
"Football is strange. All you can do as a professional is to keep your head up and continue working hard," Wakaso told Ghanasoccernet.com.
"I am always ready to help the team in anyway and the coach knows that. There are a lot of games to be played and I am confident that I will contribute to help the team maintain the lead."
Wakaso has made 11 appearances for Celtic this season, since joining on loan from Rubin Kazan in the summer.
