Brighton & Hove Albion skipper Gordon Greer could face Wolverhampton Wanderers

Gordon Greer could return from a knee injury to captain Brighton & Hove Albion in this weekend's Championship match at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Brighton & Hove Albion are hopeful that captain Gordon Greer will be able to return for this weekend's Championship fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Scottish centre-back has been absent for the Seagulls' last three games - all of which have been defeats - with a knee problem.

It was a niggling injury that had been on his mind for much of the season and one that he conceded defeat to after last month's 3-3 draw at Norwich City, according to The Argus.

Brighton's losing streak since then has seen them drop into the relegation zone.
