Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole looks at the form of both sides ahead of Saturday's clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Last week, time was running out for Sami Hyypia, but this weekend the Brighton & Hove Albion head coach will be fully aware that another disappointing result could see him out of a job.

Ahead of Saturday's meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers the reports suggesting that Hyypia could be on his way out of the club have gathered pace, with Brighton sitting three points adrift of safety.

Jeers greeted Hyypia and his players after the 1-0 loss to Millwall last Friday, and the voices of discontent will only get louder if they fail to end a run of just one win since September.

The mood is very different in the Wolves camp after Kenny Jackett's side recovered from five successive defeats by beating Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 last weekend.

That victory took Wolves back into the top half of the table, and the hosts will be eager to step up their bid for a playoff spot with an extended run of good form over Christmas.

Leon Clarke's reward for scoring the winner is likely to be a spot in the starting lineup, but Jackett is unlikely to make further changes.

Wolves:

Recent form: LLLLLW

Possible starting lineup: Ikeme, Iorfa, Batth, Stearman, Hause, Henry, McDonald, Edwards, Sako, Graham, Clarke

Brighton:

Recent form: WDDLLL

Possible starting lineup: Stockdale, Bruno, Halford, Dunk, Chicksen, Forster-Caskey, Gardner, March, Teixeira, McCourt, Bent

Sports Mole says: 2-0
