Copa America final, third-place playoff predictions including Brazil vs. Argentina

Sports Mole provides score predictions for the Copa America final and third-place playoff, including Brazil vs. Argentina.

Having both fallen short in the Copa America semi-finals, Peru and Colombia will battle for third spot in Brasilia on Saturday.

Peru lost 1-0 at the hands of host nation Brazil to prevent them from reaching their second consecutive final, while their opponents missed out in a penalty shootout against Argentina on Thursday.

We say: Peru 1-2 Colombia

While Peru may have had the more impressive tournament based on the relative expectations of the two sides, and they did defeat Colombia in the group stage, La Tricolor do have plenty of quality at their disposal to defeat Los Incas on Saturday.

They will hope to continue their gradual improvement in the tournament with a win to seal a commendable third-placed finish, and Rueda's men should be able to do that as long as the forward line can click.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Brazil vs. Argentina (Sunday, 1.00am)

The Maracana will play host to a thrilling clash on Sunday, as host nation Brazil and Argentina do battle in the final of this year's Copa America.

With both sides steeped in history in this competition, Brazil will aim to win the trophy for the 10th time, while their opponents would add a 15th Copa America title to their trophy cabinet with a win.

The hosts will aim to retain the title on home turf after triumphing in 2019, while Lionel Scaloni's men go in search of their first piece of major silverware since the turn of the century.

We say: Brazil 2-1 Argentina

In what may be the most difficult game of the tournament to predict, this could certainly go either way, and we would not be surprised to see it go to a penalty shootout.

However, we narrowly give the edge to the host nation, who could capitalise on Argentina's relative defensive weaknesses if Paqueta can continue his form alongside the likes of Neymar and Richarlison.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
