Harry Redknapp: 'Bournemouth won't change playing style in Premier League'

Harry Redknapp says that he fully expects Bournemouth to continue playing attacking football in the Premier League next season.

Harry Redknapp has said that he fully expects Bournemouth to play with an attacking style as they play in the Premier League for the first time in the club's history next season.

The 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers, and Bournemouth's superior goal difference, has all but guaranteed the Cherries promotion into the top flight, and they have been widely praised for their style of play this season.

"I am sure Eddie [Howe] will play the same way," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.

"He will attack teams and play with two wide men, he loves width. The two full-backs, who have been outstanding this season, will continue to get forward. This is his club, he's got a lovely way about him, he encourages them to play football and not just boot it up the pitch.

"They've bought into his ideas and I think, you can't speak highly enough of him. He's a quiet man, a quiet lad. I live here and you never hear anything bad about the players. No-one says a bad word, they're a pleasure."

Redknapp managed Bournemouth for nine seasons between 1983 and 1992.
