Team News: Tony Jantschke in midfield for Borussia Monchengladbach

Tony Jantschke starts in an unfamiliar midfield role for Borussia Monchengladbach against Augsburg.

Borussia Monchengladbach head coach Lucien Favre has named Tony Jantschke in the centre of his midfield, with Filip Daems coming in to play at right-back.

It is a typical first XI in terms of the attacking players from Favre, as Max Kruse starts up front with Raffael alongside and both Patrick Herrmann and Juan Arango on the flanks.

For Augsburg, Raul Bobadilla comes back into the side to start in attack and he will be closely supported by Tobias Werner and Halil Altintop from midfield.

Gladbach: Ter Stegen; Korb, Dominguez, Stranzl, Daems; Jantschke, Nordtveit; Herrmann, Arango; Raffael; Kruse

Augsburg: Manninger; Vogt, Callsen-Bracker, Klavan, Ostrzolek; Baier; Hahn, Moravek, Altintop, Werner; Bobadilla
