Borussia Monchengladbach equalised in the final moments to claim a 2-2 draw against Birmingham City on Saturday.
It was the German outfit who started the stronger, but chances remained few and far between in a tight opening period between the two sides.
We had to wait until five minutes into the second period for the opener, and it came to Birmingham as Curtis Davies thumped a header into the back of the net.
Monchengladbach levelled it at 1-1 with an effort from Matthias Zimmermann after 75 minutes, but it was Akwasi Asante who sent the Blues ahead with a cool finish after 81 minutes.
However, there was to be one final piece of action as Thorben Marx secured a point for the German side late on.
