Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus plays down transfer speculation

Marco Reus rejects reports that he is considering his future following rumours that Liverpool, Arsenal and both Manchester clubs are interested in the Dortmund star.

Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus has rejected rumours that he is thinking about joining a new club amid reports that he is wanted in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old has been linked to Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and English champions Manchester City over the last few months.

Reports have claimed that Reus has a £20m buyout clause in his contract at the Bundesliga club, but the attacker has insisted that stories about his future are simply rumours.

The German released a statement saying: "At the moment there are a lot of people talking about my future. There is a lot of speculation and a lot is being written.

"So I would like to take this opportunity to say that other people are thinking more about my future than me."

Reus has been at Dortmund since 2012.
