Borussia Dortmund hammer Japanese opposition

Shinji Kagawa and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both score braces as Borussia Dortmund beat Kawasaki Frontale 6-0 in a friendly.

Borussia Dortmund started their pre-season tour of Asia with a 6-0 victory over Kawasaki Frontale this afternoon.

Playing in front of a home Japanese crowd, Dortmund's former Manchester United playmaker Shinji Kagawa put his side two goals to the good by the break.

After the restart, substitute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang weighed in with a brace of his own following passes from Ilkay Gundogan and Marcel Schmelzer.

The scoring was then completed against the side currently ranked fifth in the J-League by midfielder Mitsuru Maruoka and reserve player Jon Stankovic.
