Cheick Diabate scored a hat-trick as Bordeaux ran out 5-1 winners over Guingamp in their Ligue 1 match this afternoon.
The visitors began the game strongly and Ladislas Dounima threatened with a fierce strike into the side netting.

Despite Guingamp's positive start, the hosts took the lead in the eighth minute. Gregory Sertic was able to find space and deliver a cross from that right, which was turned in at the front post by Diabate.
Bordeaux took control of the game and Diabate scored his second of the afternoon twelve minutes later when he was played into the box by Nicolas Maurice-Belay, before sliding an effort past Mamadou Samassa.
The hosts were cruising and in the 26th minute Diabate completed his hat-trick with a powerful header into the net following Sertic's corner.
Mustapha Diallo pulled a goal back for Guingamp three minutes later after he headed in from Fatih Atik's free kick.
After the break the home side added a fourth goal through Jussie, who slotted home after the ball had fallen to him kindly inside the box.
Diego Rolan was close to further extending their lead on the hour mark, but saw his fierce effort tipped over by Samassa.
Rolan did find the back of the net eight minutes later when he fired home a penalty following Gregory Cerdan's handball inside the box.
