Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has insisted that his side's Premier League fate is in their hands ahead of their basement battle with Queens Park Rangers.

The Trotters are currently 19th in the Premier League table following a run of four consecutive defeats.

Despite their poor form, Coyle believes that his players have what it takes to secure their safety.

"We will shape our own fate," Coyle told reporters. "We can get something out of every one of the 11 games left. If we do that Bolton will be a Premier League club. This game is the biggest of our season – but every one is after that until we are safe.

"We have our fate in our own hands, it's all in front of us. We have come through a tough stretch of fixtures, I could go on until I am blue in the face about that. But it will count for nothing if we don't get the rewards."

Bolton can move out of the drop zone with a win at the Reebok Stadium later today (Saturday).
