Christopher Samba skips training

Christopher Samba misses Friday's training after calling in sick.

Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba reportedly missed training on Friday after ringing in sick.

Samba and manager Steve Kean were expected to discuss whether or not he was in the right frame of mind to face Fulham this weekend, according to The Sun, after saying earlier this week that it is "time for a change".

However, there are now doubts regarding his involvement when the Cottagers travel to Ewood Park this weekend to take on bottom-of-the-league Blackburn.

The Congo international, who has been linked with a move since the summer, is understood to believe that QPR's £6.5m bid for his services should have been good enough. He is also thought to welcome a move to big-spending Paris Saint-Germain.
