Half-Time Report: Ipswich Town, Blackburn Rovers goalless at the break

Blackburn Rovers hold Ipswich Town to a goalless first half at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town and Blackburn Rovers have played out a goalless first half at Portman Road in the Championship this afternoon.

Rudy Gestede went close for Rovers on 23 minutes, but the striker was unable get his header on target from Craig Conway's cross.

Jordan Rhodes was denied for Blackburn shortly before the half-hour mark when his header was kept out after good work from Cairney once again.

Gestede then had a penalty appeal waved away towards the end of the half after going down under a challenge from Tyrone Mings.
