A volley from Edin Dzeko has given Bosnia-Herzegovina a 1-0 lead over Belgium at half time in their Euro 2016 qualifier this evening.
The first chance of the night fell to the visitors when Romelu Lukaku tried to tap in from close range following a run from Eden Hazard, but Asmir Begovic was on hand to make the save.
Tino Susic tried to create something down the other end for the home side, but his ball into the box went straight to Thibaut Courtois.
Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne both continued to run at the Bosnia defence, while Toby Alderweireld headed just over the bar, but the visitors were unable to break the deadlock.
Their misses proved costly when Miralem Pjanic picked out Dzeko with a low ball into the box just before the half-hour mark, setting the striker up for a volley into the back of the net.
Lukaku came close to an equaliser shortly before the half-time whistle, but the Everton forward was denied by Begovic again to keep Bosnia in front.
