In each side's third Bundesliga game of the 2024-25 season, RB Leipzig are set to host Union Berlin at Red Bull Arena on Saturday.
The home side have made a strong start to their campaign and are in third place with six points after two matchweeks, while the visitors are fifth with four points following their 1-0 win against newly-promoted St Pauli on August 30.
We say: RB Leipzig 3-0 Union Berlin
While Svensson has made a good start to life as Union Berlin boss, it is difficult to look past his side's poor away record.
It would not be surprising if RB Leipzig were to keep another clean sheet at home, and continue their unbeaten streak at Red Bull Arena.

Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to bounce back from their first league defeat since May 2023 when they travel to PreZero Arena on Saturday when they will face Hoffenheim in their third Bundesliga game of 2024-25.
The hosts are currently 11th with three points after two matchweeks and lost 3-1 last time out on August 31 against Eintracht Frankfurt, while the visitors are eighth with three points after they were beaten 3-2 by RB Leipzig on the same date.
We say: Hoffenheim 1-3 Bayer Leverkusen
Though Hoffenheim have a strong home record in recent Bundesliga matches, Leverkusen will be looking to bounce back after their historic unbeaten streak came to an end.
It would not be surprising if Alonso's side emerged as comfortable victors, although given their recent defensive frailty, they are unlikely to keep a clean sheet.

Freiburg vs. VfL Bochum (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Freiburg are set to host VfL Bochum at Europa-Park Stadion on Saturday in each side's third Bundesliga game of the campaign.
The home side are 10th with three points and lost 2-0 last time out on September 1 against Bayern Munich, while the visitors are 17th with no points and are currently second-last and in the relegation zone.
We say: Freiburg 2-0 VfL Bochum
Despite a difficult start to the season, Freiburg have performed well in their opening two games of the Bundesliga, and if they perform as well as they did against Stuttgart on Saturday then they should be favourites.
Given Bochum's poor away record, it would be surprising if they managed to earn any points at all this weekend.

Wolfsburg vs. Frankfurt (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Wolfsburg will be looking for their second win of the 2024-25 Bundesliga season when they host Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday at Volkswagen Arena in each side's third league game of the season.
The home side are sixth with three points and beat Holstein Kiel 2-0 last time out in the top flight on August 31, while the visitors are ninth with three points and emerged 3-1 victors against Hoffenheim on the same date.
We say: Wolfsburg 2-1 Eintracht Frankfurt
Wolfsburg managed to pose a significant challenge to Bayern Munich, and it would not be surprising if they were able to do so again against Eintracht Frankfurt.
However, the visitors still conceded a number of chances when they lost against Bayern, and they could do so again on Saturday.

Borussia Monchengladbach are set to host last season's Bundesliga runners-up Stuttgart at Borussia-Park on Saturday in each side's third game of the league season.
The home side are currently seventh with three points and beat Bochum 2-0 last time out in the league on August 31, while the visitors are 14th with just one point and drew 3-3 with Mainz on the same date.
We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 2-2 Stuttgart
Borussia Monchengladbach have been poor in recent matches at home, and it would not be surprising if the visitors managed to create several chances.
However, Stuttgart have struggled in the opening to the 2024-25 Bundesliga season, and it is difficult to see them keeping a clean sheet.

Holstein Kiel vs. Bayern (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Newly-promoted Holstein Kiel are set to host Vincent Kompany's Bayern Munich at Holstein-Stadion on Saturday in the Bundesliga's third matchweek.
The home side are currently third last in 16th place with no points and lost 2-0 against Wolfsburg on August 31, while Bayern have made a good start to the season and are second with six points.
We say: Holstein Kiel 1-5 Bayern Munich
While Holstein Kiel were competitive in their loss against Wolfsburg, they still conceded several chances themselves.
It would not be surprising if Bayern's superior attacking quality punished mistakes in their hosts' backline, and the Bavarians should be seen as strong favourites.
