Stuttgart vs. Mainz (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Two teams go in search of their first Bundesliga win of the season when Stuttgart host Mainz 05 on Saturday afternoon.
History is on the side of the hosts, who won 3-1 in their two league meetings last season, but the visitors are on an impressive unbeaten run in the league that stretches back to March.
We say: Stuttgart 1-1 Mainz 05
The home side have a number of defensive injury concerns heading into this game, and their vulnerability could be exposed by a confident and physical Mainz.
The away side are also now on a 10-game unbeaten run in the Bundesliga, but with recent history versus their opponents against them we would be surprised if they left Stuttgart with all three points in the bag.

Frankfurt vs. Hoffenheim (Saturday, 2.30pm)

In their second matchweek of the 2024-25 Bundesliga season, Eintracht Frankfurt are set to host Hoffenheim on Saturday at Deutsche Bank Park, and will be looking to bounce back from their defeat against Borussia Dortmund on August 24.
The home side squandered the chance to take the lead last weekend and are currently second last in 17th place with no points, while the visitors beat Holstein Kiel 3-2 last Saturday and are third with three points.
We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-2 Hoffenheim
Given the form of attacker Kramaric, it would not be surprising if Hoffenheim managed to regularly threaten Kevin Trapp's goal.
However, Eintracht Frankfurt will feel they can pose challenges to the visitors considering their defensive struggles against newly-promoted Holstein Kiel.

Werder Bremen vs. Dortmund (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Borussia Dortmund will be looking for their second win in as many league games on Saturday when they travel to Weserstadion, where they will face Werder Bremen.
The home side drew 2-2 with Augsburg on August 24 in their opening game of the 2024-25 Bundesliga season and are eighth after one matchweek, while the visitors are third with three points after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 on the same date.
We say: Werder Bremen 1-2 Borussia Dortmund
Sahin has made a promising start to life as Dortmund coach, and if they continue their proactive approach on Saturday, they could create several chances.
However, it would not be surprising if Werder Bremen posed a challenge to Sahin's side considering they have been difficult to beat of late.

VfL Bochum vs. Borussia M'bach (Saturday, 2.30pm)

VfL Bochum are set to host Borussia Monchengladbach at Vonovia Ruhrstadion on Saturday in each side's second Bundesliga game of the 2024-25 season.
The home team lost 1-0 on August 24 against RB Leipzig and are currently 15th in the table, while the visitors lost 3-2 against champions Bayer Leverkusen on August 23 after conceding a decisive third goal in the 11th minute of second-half stoppage time.
We say: VfL Bochum 2-1 Borussia Monchengladbach
Although Bochum have lost three of their last five league fixtures, their record at home is fairly decent.
Additionally, given Borussia Monchengladbach have often struggled away from home, it would not be a surprise if they dropped points for a second consecutive matchweek.

Holstein Kiel vs. Wolfsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

In the second matchweek of the Bundesliga season, newly-promoted Holstein Kiel are set to host Wolfsburg at Holstein-Stadion on Saturday, and each side will be hoping to pick up their first points of the campaign.
The home side lost 3-2 on August 24 against Hoffenheim and are currently 13th in the table, while the visitors are 14th having lost 3-2 against Bayern Munich on August 25 despite taking a 2-1 lead.
We say: Holstein Kiel 2-2 Wolfsburg
Both sides performed well despite their defeats in the opening weekend of the 2024-25 Bundesliga season, and they could both have spells of good attacking play on Saturday.
It would not be surprising if the visitors performed better in the second half should the hosts tire, especially given the fitness levels of Hasenhuttl's team.

B. Leverkusen vs. RB Leipzig (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen welcome RB Leipzig to the BayArena for their first top-flight home fixture of the 2024-25 campaign on Saturday afternoon.
The two teams, who will soon be competing in the newly-expanded Champions League, meet for the first time since January when Leverkusen claimed a 3-2 top-flight away victory.
We say: Bayer Leverkusen 3-2 RB Leipzig
Ten goals were scored across two meetings between Leverkusen and Leipzig last season and another entertaining, end-to-end contest could be on the cards on Saturday.
Alonso's men did the double over Die Roten Bullen last season and after resting a number of star players in midweek, we feel that they will find a way to come out on top once again on home soil.
