Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Bundesliga fixtures, including Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund.

RB Leipzig vs. Mainz (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Top-four hopefuls RB Leipzig host relegation-threatened Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday.

A kinder set of fixtures makes Leipzig the favourites to leapfrog Borussia Dortmund into fourth, while the odds are still stacked against Mainz's survival, despite a positive result before the international break.

We say: RB Leipzig 4-1 Mainz 05

Leipzig have shown little mercy to the sides struggling at the bottom in recent weeks, and a similar story could play out this weekend against another.

The 8-1 loss at Bayern three weeks ago will still linger in the memory despite the win over Bochum that followed, and Mainz will just hope they do not suffer the same fate this weekend.

B. Leverkusen vs. Hoffenheim (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen welcome European contenders Hoffenheim to the BayArena on Saturday afternoon.

Xabi Alonso's men will look to move one step closer to securing the club's first-ever Bundesliga title, with the 'Eternal Bridesmaids' now just five wins from ridding themselves of that moniker.

We say: Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 Hoffenheim

Still, with the ninth month of the season approaching, nobody has been able to get the better of Leverkusen, and in match number 39 of the season, another win is expected from the champions-elect.

With just one win in their last nine away, and 22 games without a clean sheet, Hoffenheim are unlikely to end Leverkusen's excellent run, but they may give the league leaders a scare or two at the back.

Frankfurt vs. Union Berlin (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Aiming to keep their European hopes alive, Eintracht Frankfurt will welcome Union Berlin to Deutsche Bank Park on Saturday afternoon in the Bundesliga.

The Eagles were defeated at the home of Borussia Dortmund prior to the international break, whilst the Iron Ones were narrow winners over Werder Bremen.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 Union Berlin

Eintracht have been imperious on home soil in the Bundesliga this season - losing just once - and we reckon that the Eagles should be good enough for another positive result at their base on Saturday.

Union Berlin are slipping towards mid-table mediocrity this term, with the visitors facing a huge challenge to get anything from their trip to Frankfurt this weekend.

Borussia M'bach vs. Freiburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Aiming to keep their faint hopes of European qualification alive, Freiburg will travel to Borussia Park to face Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.

The Foals shared the spoils with newly-promoted Heidenheim last time out, whilst the Breisgau Brazilians narrowly lost to league leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 1-2 Freiburg

With their season at serious risk of petering out, we are not expecting much from Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday afternoon at Borussia Park.

Freiburg played well in their defeat to Leverkusen before the break, and we reckon that the Breisgau Brazilians will take that positive momentum into this clash.

Werder Bremen vs. Wolfsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Wolfsburg start life after Niko Kovac with a trip to face Werder Bremen at the Weserstadion in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Ralph Hasenhuttl has arrived as manager during the international break with the Wolves hovering ominously above the bottom three.

We say: Werder Bremen 2-2 Wolfsburg

Having scored in all of their previous 13 matches and now facing a side with no clean sheet in 11 games, it is no surprise Bremen will come into this one as favourites.

However, under new management, Wolfsburg will hope to turn a corner, and a fresh start under Hasenhuttl may end their recent rut, even if it does not start with an instant win.

Bayern vs. Dortmund (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund meet at the Allianz Arena for the 135th edition of Der Klassiker on Saturday night.

Both sides are likely to have one eye on the upcoming Champions League quarter-finals in just over a week's time, but the two still have something to play for domestically.

We say: Bayern Munich 3-1 Borussia Dortmund

With Bayern's horrific run of form in February now seemingly behind them, they will be expected to keep the title race going just a little bit longer with another win against opponents they so often get the better of.

Dortmund have only lost one of their last 16 away Bundesliga games, but their inability to show up in this fixture in recent years, especially at the Allianz, could be costly again.
