Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer has encouraged coach Jupp Heynckes to retire from management at the end of the season.
Heynckes is leaving the club in the summer with his next destination unclear. However, Beckenbauer said that the potential treble in his final season would allow Heynckes to go out on a high.
"He should take it slower and doesn't need the daily dirty business," Goal.com quotes Beckenbauer as saying. "I can't advise him to stay in coaching.
"There can't be further success, and besides, he's quickly approaching 70."
Having wrapped up the Bundesliga title, Heynckes's Bayern are in the final of both the Champions League and DFB-Pokal.
