Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno has committed his future to the Bundesliga side until the summer of 2018.
The 21-year-old, who was signed from Stuttgart's second team two years ago, revealed his delight at extending his stay at the Champions League club.
"Bayer 04 Leverkusen turned me from a 19-year-old third-division goalkeeper into a number one at a Champions League club," Bundesliga.com quotes Leno as saying.
"That act of faith made a great impression on me and I'm incredibly thankful for the club for that."
Last week Lars Bender also signed a new Leverkusen deal.
