Team News: Stefan Kiessling missing for Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen are without striker Stefan Kiessling for their final Champions League group game away to Benfica.

Stefan Kiessling has been left out of Bayer Leverkusen's team for their final Champions League group game against Benfica this evening.

The Bundesliga club, who will go through as group winners with a victory in Lisbon, must also do without German international midfielder Lars Bender (stomach).

However, manager Roger Schmidt does give a start to Josip Drmic and Robbie Kruse in attack for the visitors.

Benfica, who will finish bottom of Group C regardless of the outcome at the Estadio Da Luz, are without defensive talisman Luisao through suspension.

Coach Jorge Jesus has also opted to rest Nicolas Gaitan and Maxi Pereira, perhaps with a view to starting the pair against domestic rivals Porto at the weekend.

Benfica: Artur, Lisandro Lopez, Andre Almeida, Cesar, Benito, Cristante, Derley, Lima, John, Pizzi, Tiago

Bayer Levekusen: Leno, Spahic, Hilbert, Boenisch, Toprak, Rolfes, Calhanoglu, Castro, Bellarabi, Drmic, Kruse
