Barnsley have signed Northern Ireland international winger Paddy McCourt until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old, who was released by Celtic last month after making 66 SPL appearances for the Hoops, trained with Hibernian earlier this summer.
However, he has now opted to join the Tykes - a decision that he describes as "easy".
"It was an easy decision," he told the club's official website. "I've know the manager a long time. I've been speaking to him over the last couple of weeks.
"I've been down to a few training sessions, got to know the lads and delighted to be on board."
McCourt is expected to make his debut in Saturday's visit to Blackburn Rovers.
