Alex Song "not happy" at Barcelona

The cousin of Alex Song has claimed that the midfielder is "not happy" at Barcelona.

The 25-year-old has made a total of 23 appearances for the club since a £15m move from Arsenal last summer.

"Alex is not happy [at Barcelona]; at Arsenal he was a leader on and off the field, he doesn't feel like the protagonist in Spain, it makes him feel bad," former Cameroon international Rigobert Song told Calciomercato.

Song's contract at the Camp Nou is due to expire in 2017.
