Pedro unsure of future

Spanish international Pedro is unsure whether he will remain with Barcelona next season.

Spanish international Pedro has admitted that he is unsure whether he will remain with Barcelona next season.

The 26-year-old, who has been with Barcelona since 2004, scored 19 times for the Catalan outfit this season.

However, the winger was overlooked for a number of key matches, leading to suggestions that he could seek pastures new this summer.

"I don't know. I'm happy at the club but I don't know what the future holds for me. Now I have my mind set only on the World Cup," he told AS.

"I'd rather I played more, especially in big games, where perhaps I had less participation. Overall, I ended up happy because in the games I was on the field I was able to help the team. We'll see what happens next year.

"It isn't easy to get into the Barca team. The coach decided to use other players and I respect his opinion. In the final part he gave me more minutes. I don't hold grudges."

A number of European clubs are believed to be monitoring proceedings.
