Ousmane Dembele is delaying talks with Barcelona over a new deal, according to a report.
The France international, who joined Barca for £135.5m in August 2017, is set to be out of contract in a little over a year's time.
Dembele has had a mixed time of things at Camp Nou, but Barca do not want to lose the 23-year-old on a free transfer.
However, Sport suggests that, despite Dembele being happy in Catalonia, the player's entourage have advised him to hold off from beginning negotiations until the summer.
That could possibly mean an improved offer from the club, knowing that European rivals will be waiting to pounce ahead of next season.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported in Spain that Barca have yet to offer captain Lionel Messi a new contract.
