Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has insisted that there is "no clause" in Bojan Krkic's contract that would allow Barcelona to re-sign the attacker for a pre-agreed price.
The Spanish club are known to have such a deal in place with Everton regarding winger Gerard Deulofeu, who swapped Catalonia for Merseyside in the summer.
However, despite speculation to the contrary, Hughes has stressed that no such agreement was made with Barca when 25-year-old Bojan arrived at the Britannia Stadium 18 months ago.
"There's a lot of speculation on Bojan. There's a lot of misinformation about and there is no clause in his contract," he told reporters.
"I take transfer speculation with a pinch of salt. I don't know where the stories come from and a lot come with no substance."
Bojan has scored five goals from his 17 outings for the Potters this season.
