Team News: Luis Enrique rings Barcelona changes

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique rings the changes for his side's La Liga clash against Sporting Gijon, but Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar are all in the XI.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has made five changes to his XI for Wednesday's La Liga clash away to Sporting Gijon.

This particular match-up is Barcelona's game in hand over their title rivals, which was previously postponed due to their involvement in the Club World Cup at the end of 2015.

The Catalan giants will enter the match on the back of a 30-game winning run in all competitions and having thumped Celta Vigo 6-1 in the league at the weekend, which stretched their lead at the top of La Liga to three points.

Aleix Vidal, Jeremy Mathieu and Adriano have all come into the back four for the visitors, while Ivan Rakitic and Arda Turan have replaced Sergi Roberto and Andres Iniesta in the middle of the park. Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, however, all continue in the final third of the field.

As for Sporting, Alen Halilovic, who is on loan from Barcelona, has been cleared to play against his parent club.

There is also a spot in the XI for 20-year-old striker Carlos Castro, while experienced goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar will skipper the team once again.

Sporting Gijon: Cuellar; Lora, Lichnovsky, J. Mere, Canella; Mascarell, Cases; Perez, Halilovic, Alex Menendez; Castro
Subs: Garcia, Barrera, Guerrero, Lopez, Vranjes, Jony, Rachid

Barcelona: Bravo; Vidal, Pique, Mathieu, Adriano; Busquets, Rakitic, Turan; Neymar, Suarez, Messi
Subs: Ter Stegen, Alves, Iniesta, Mascherano, Bartra, Munir, Vermaelen
