Luis Suarez and Neymar scored the goals as Barcelona recorded a 2-0 win at Getafe on Saturday evening.

Luis Enrique's side have moved level on points with Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table, but Getafe, who have now lost their last two without scoring, remain 13th.

The opening goal of the match came eight minutes before the break when Sergi Roberto set up Suarez, before Roberto turned provider for Neymar to volley an excellent second just before the hour.

Here, Sports Mole has taken a closer look at how each player performed in Madrid.

GETAFE

Goal

Vicente Guaita: Could not do anything about either Barcelona goal and actually made a couple of decent saves throughout the match. Was also strong from most of the high balls that came into the box. (6/10)

Defence

Damian Suarez: Almost caught out Claudio Bravo with a long-range strike in the first period, but found Barcelona's forward players difficult to contain and was booked for a rash challenge on Suarez. (6/10)

Alexis: Made a number of vital clearances in the first period during Barcelona's spell of dominance, but the centre-back never looked comfortable in possession and distributed some dodgy passes. (6/10)

Santiago Vergini: Was caught out for Barcelona's opening goal and looked really uncomfortable when Neymar had possession of the ball. Fine aerially, but struggled with the ball on the deck. (5/10)

Roberto Lago: There was space for the left-back to exploit such was Dani Alves's willingness to drive forward, but the Spaniard spent most of his evening trying to control his opposing full-back. (6/10)

Midfield

Medhi Lacen: Showed some nice footwork in the first period and was also neat and tidy in possession, but the midfielder could not influence the game in the final third of the field. (6/10)

Juan Rodriguez: Picked up a booking late in the first period for a poor challenge on Neymar and struggled to get near the Brazilian after that. Replaced by Bernard Mensah late on. (6/10)

Victor Rodriguez: Set up Getafe's best chance of the match with an excellent cross into Stefan Scepovic, but the striker could only fire wide. Showed bits and pieces, but did drift out of the game. (6/10)

Attack

Pedro Leon: Another poor show from the Spaniard, who has had too many of these type of games in recent months. Did not offer his team anywhere near enough in the final third of the field. (5/10)

Stefan Scepovic: As mentioned, had his team's best chance in the first half, but after controlling a cross from Victor, could only fire wide of the post. Struggled for service in the second period. (6/10)

Pablo Sarabia: Did his best to make things happen in the final third, but the Spaniard simply did not have enough service. Work-rate not in question, but just lacked that quality in forward positions. (6/10)

Substitutes

Angel Lafita: Would have been disappointed not to have been given the nod to start, but aside from one long-range effort over the crossbar, the midfielder struggled to make his mark after entering. (6/10)

Moi Gomez: Another that would have fancied a start here, but the on-loan Villarreal midfielder did not enter until the 69th minute and he saw little of the ball in the latter stages of the game. (6/10)

Bernard Mensah: The last of Getafe's three changes, Mensah was sent on to provide some pace for the final 10 minutes. Took a couple of knocks and did seem to unnerve Barcelona's back four. (6/10)

BARCELONA

Goal

Claudio Bravo: Had his feet up in the Spanish capital. Did not have a single save to make, but he was very positive from high balls and played a key role in Barcelona's second after claiming a corner. (6/10)

Defence

Dani Alves: Played the majority of the game as a right-winger and caused Getafe a whole host of problems with his willingness to drive forward. Was not really tested defensively in Madrid. (7/10)

Gerard Pique: Was prepared to bring the ball forward during a confident performance at the heart of the defence. Was not really tested, but still picked out some excellent passes from a deep area. (7/10)

Jeremy Mathieu: Has faced some criticism this season for some under-par performances, but the French centre-back was given the nod to start alongside Pique and was largely solid at the back. (6/10)

Jordi Alba: Like Alves, Getafe's lack of forward threat meant that the full-back took up a high position down the left. Was always involved as he delivered dangerous crosses from a wide area. (7/10)

Midfield

Sergio Busquets: Often goes a long time without being noticed, but the role that he performs cannot be overlooked. Always putting out fires and feeding the ball into more advanced teammates. (7/10)

Ivan Rakitic: Not overly involved going forward for long spells of the match, but performed a disciplined role alongside Busquets in the middle of the park. No real spark, but still contributed. (6/10)

Sergi Roberto: Quite probably his best performance in a Barcelona shirt. Provided two excellent assists, the first of which was a quite stunning flick. Radiated class each time he had possession. (9/10)

Attack

Neymar: On a different planet to every another player on the night. Scored Barcelona's second with a wonderful volley, but it was his all-round dazzling performance that impressed the most. (9/10)

Luis Suarez: Has been in wonderful scoring form in recent weeks and continued that run with Barcelona's opener. Was always testing Getafe's back four with his energy and work-rate. (8/10)

Munir El-Haddadi: Had a sensational chance to score inside the opening 60 seconds, but could only fire wide from close range. Kept getting in good positions during a decent all-round performance. (6/10)

Substitutes

Andres Iniesta: Easy to overlook the Spaniard's contribution on his return from injury, but after taking to the field in the 61st minute, Barcelona's intensity and movement of the ball became quicker. (7/10)

Sandro Ramirez: Was rotated out of the first XI for Munir, but the Spaniard was given the final 15 minutes to make an impression. Used his pace to stretch the match in the latter stages. (6/10)
