Xavi praises Neymar

Spanish international Xavi praises his "spectacular" Barcelona teammate Neymar.

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has lavished praise on his "spectacular" club teammate Neymar.

The 21-year-old, who arrived at Camp Nou from Santos in the summer, has impressed in the early stages of his career in Spain, scoring four times and registering seven assists in 11 La Liga games.

"It's no wonder Neymar [has impressed]. We have already seen he is a spectacular player who is able to make a difference," Xavi told beIn Sport.

"He's been decisive on many occasions thanks to his goals, his passing, his dribbling and the high level he has demonstrated.

"We had already we had seen how good he is in the Confederations Cup but we've seen him go up a notch."

Neymar has also netted 27 times in his 44 appearances for Brazil.
