Barcelona youngster Cristian Tello has thanked Tito Vilanova for giving him a sustained run in the first-team squad and attributed his fine form to new-found confidence.
Tello scored Barca's second goal in a memorable 5-4 win against Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday to help the Catalan giants maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The young Spaniard believes that he can continue to make an impact if given the opportunity.
He told the club's official website: "We jumped into a big lead really early on, but after two good counterattacks we were in trouble again.
"I'm very pleased that I scored and for the confidence the manager has in me. I like to help the team and I hope I can continue doing it for years to come.
"It's always more difficult to win the three points after international breaks, but it was still three points so we can be positive about our victory."
The Catalan giants return to action on Tuesday when they entertain Celtic in the Champions League.
