Barcelona's new starlet Alexis Sanchez admits he wants to learn from his new teammates.

Barcelona’s new signing Alexis Sanchez has admitted that he doesn’t want to be compared to his rival Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Chilean forward was linked to a number of clubs across Europe, including Premier League outfit Manchester City. However, Spanish giants Barcelona managed to clinch the 22-year-old’s signature from Udinese.

The youngster described his touchdown at Barcelona’s El Prat airport as “like a film” to reporters after he was greeted by crowds of fans.

Despite the excitement surrounding the starlet, Sanchez believes he has a lot to learn and wants to make his own mark on the Primera Liga.

"I want to learn from players like [Lionel] Messi and Xavi - and I want to help the club win more titles,” Sanchez told reporters.

"I respect Cristiano Ronaldo, he's a great player. But I don't want to be compared to anyone."

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has already expressed his desire to link up with the youngster.
