Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has branded Sergio Busquets "the best midfielder in the world" following Saturday's La Liga clash at Getafe.
Busquets played a key role in Barcelona's 2-0 win in Madrid as he helped the Catalan side control the game from a deep area.
Enrique has called the Spanish international "a unique player" and has also claimed that he is the best of his type in the world.
"[Busquets] is a unique player, the most comprehensive out there and, for me, the best midfielder in the world. He's essential for us, not only for his intelligence but because he can play in different positions," Enrique told reporters.
"When he plays as a pivot, the team win in an attacking sense and are solid defensively. He's key and I try to give him a break whenever I can."
Barcelona return to Champions League action at home to BATE Borisov on Wednesday evening.
