How Barcelona could line up against Sevilla in Copa del Rey semi-final

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up for their Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Sevilla.

Barcelona's quest for a record-extending 31st Copa del Rey triumph continues on Wednesday evening with a trip to Sevilla in the semi-final first leg.

The Catalan giants snatched a late 3-2 win at Real Betis last time out to make it six victories in a row in all competitions.

Ronald Koeman rested some key men in that most recent match, each of whom will likely be recalled for this clash at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up against fellow in-form side Sevilla.

Possible BARXI vs. SEV

Out: Ronald Araujo (ankle), Philippe Coutinho (knee), Gerard Pique (knee), Ansu Fati (knee)

Lionel Messi, Frenkie de Jong and Pedri were named among Barcelona's subs for the win at Betis, though all three were called upon before the hour mark.

They should each return to the starting lineup here for a Barca side in desperate need for some cover at the back.

Ronald Araujo has joined long-term absentee Gerard Pique on the sidelines, meaning that Oscar Mingueza may have to shift into centre-back, having played at right-back last time out.

Philippe Coutinho and Ansu Fati are both definitely out with knee injuries, meanwhile, and Sergi Roberto is doubtful after sustaining another injury.

Fitness depending, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele will join Messi in attack, with Martin Braithwaite making way.
