Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has claimed that his side deservedly won their Champions League clash against Celtic on Tuesday.
The Spanish giants scored in the fourth minute of injury time through Jordi Alba to defeat the Scottish champions 2-1 at Camp Nou in Group G.
"We scored at the death but we did enough beforehand to merit the victory," said Vilanova. "We brought all of the weight to this encounter; we had the chances and the possession.
"They were strong on the counter and in their aerial game. We know that if you don't persist, you don't win games.
"We knew the risks we were taking, they could have scored a second, but you have to keep going until the end."
Barcelona are currently at the top of their group with nine points from three matches.
