Filipe Luis out of Galatasaray clash

Atletico Madrid leave Filipe Luis out of their travelling squad for Tuesday's Champions League group match away to Galatasaray.

Brazilian left-back Filipe Luis has been left out of Atletico Madrid's squad for Tuesday's Champions League clash away to Galatasaray.

The defender had been an injury doubt for Atletico's La Liga match against Barcelona on Saturday, but did start at the Vicente Calderon.

Luis sustained another knock against the Spanish champions, however, and he will now play no part in Atletico's first Champions League group match of the new campaign.

Either Jesus Gamez or Guilherme Siqueira are expected to replace the full-back in the XI, but Diego Simeone has no other fresh injury concerns.

Luis re-joined Atletico from Chelsea this summer.
