Emmanuel Adebayor has reportedly been offered to Aston Villa as a means of solving the club's injury crisis up front.
The Midlands side suffered a major blow in a recent meeting with Burnley during which key striker Wesley, signed over the summer, was ruled out for the season with a knee injury.
With Keinan Davis also injured, manager Dean Smith only has Jonathan Kodjia as an available option in the striker's position.
According to The Sun, Adebayor's camp views Villa's situation as a unique opportunity to bring the 38-year-old back to the Premier League.
Adebayor has previously enjoyed spells with Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace in the English top flight.
The former Togo international left Turkish side Kayserispor last month, meaning that he would be available to join Villa straight away as a free agent.
