Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that Theo Walcott will be going nowhere in this summer's transfer window.
The England international, who has just one year remaining on his current deal, has been linked with a switch to Liverpool.
Previous reports suggested that a deal could be struck involving Reds starlet Raheem Sterling, who recently rejected a new £100,000-a-week deal at Anfield.
Despite Walcott having yet to commit his future to Arsenal, Wenger is confident that the 26-year-old wants to stay put at the Emirates.
In this morning's press conference, Wenger said: "There's no [update]. Yes we are already talking to him. Today I'm not in that kind of mode of thinking because I just want him to stay. We're keen to do it, he's keen to do it."
Since returning from a groin injury earlier this season, Walcott has made 10 Premier League appearances and has scored two goals.
