Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that the club are in no hurry to extend the contracts of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
The duo are both believed to be contracted to the Emirates Stadium for another three years.
Nevertheless, recent speculation had suggested that the North Londoners were keen to improve their current terms in a bid to warn off any potential admirers.
However, Wenger has revealed that no discussions have taken place and they will be unlikely to get underway until the end of the season.
"We'll deal with [the new contracts] later in the season. We focus on the present and we deal with that at the end of May," he told reporters.
Arsenal, who sit second in the Premier League, travel to Southampton on Boxing Day.
