Arsenal must reportedly pay £14m in compensation to Leicester City if they are to sign Brendan Rodgers as the club's next permanent manager.

Arsenal will reportedly have to pay £14m in compensation to Leicester City if they were to sign Brendan Rodgers as the club's next permanent manager.

The Gunners are on the search for a new boss following the club's decision to sack Unai Emery after seven games without a victory.

It is claimed that Rodgers, who has been at Leicester since February, is viewed as an ideal candidate to replace the Spaniard.

According to The Telegraph, Leicester will demand a compensation fee of £14m in order to release Rodgers to Arsenal this season.

The former Liverpool manager has impressed this season by guiding Leicester to second place in the Premier League table after 13 games.

In response to the rumours, Rodgers recently reiterated his desire to remain at the King Power Stadium.
