Marvin Martin suggests that an "agreement" has been made with Sochaux to let the midfielder leave for Arsenal next season.

Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin has hinted that he could move to Premier League outfit Arsenal next season.

The Gunners attempted to lure the 23-year-old to the Emirates this summer but failed after the Frenchman signed an extension with the Ligue 1 club.

Although it seemed that he wanted to remain in France, Martin has revealed that his future could lie with Arsenal next season.

“We had good talk and we found an agreement,” Martin told L’Equipe.

“The officials made a promise. Indeed, an agreement to let me leave. I will remain at Sochaux until the end of the season.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal prepare to take on Blackburn Rovers in the early fixture at Ewood Park on Saturday.
