Manchester City have reportedly made a bid to sign Atletico Mineiro's highly-rated teenager Savio.
The 17-year-old winger, who has already made 23 senior appearances across all competitions for the Brasileiro champions, is believed to have caught the eye of a number of clubs in Europe.
Negotiations between City and Atletico Mineiro are ongoing with regards to Savio, and Fabrizio Romano in The Guardian reports that the Premier League giants having tabled a €6.5m (£5.5m) offer plus add-ons for the teenager, with any potential deal also including a sell-on clause.
The report adds that if a deal is agreed between both parties then Savio would be expected to move to the Etihad Stadium in the summer, before joining PSV Eindhoven on loan ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Arsenal and the Red Bull franchise, which includes RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg, are also understood to have made contract with Savio's representatives; however, Man City are currently leading the race for his signature.
Savio could become the second Brazilian teenager to join the Citizens within the last year, after Kayky moved to Manchester from Fluminense in April 2021, and has since broken into Pep Guardiola's first-team squad.
